Driver Qualifications
– Minimum of 2 years of OTR experience
– At least 23 years of age
– No DWI or DUI convictions in the past 5 years
– No Operating-So-As-To-Endanger or Reckless Driving convictions in last 3 years
– No major chargeable accidents in the past 3 years
– Meet/Pass all DOT requirements
– No failed or refused drug or alcohol screenings
– Must be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card (Minimum Validity of 1 Year)
Hillcrest Driver Advantages
– Detention pay of $25 per hour
– Mandatory 10 hour break pay when associated with a load of $50 per diem per occurrence
– Average mileage is from 2500 to 3200 miles per week
– Driver manager communications via phone, Omnitracs, and face-to-face meetings
– Average age of tractors is 24 months
– Automatic transmissions
– Fuel bonus
